What if the facades were pages of a book?
The Museu de Favela was created in 2008 by residents and cultural leaders of these communities. In the Circuito das Casas-Tela, the painted facades tell the local history through urban art. Here, the idea of a museum is related to a living territory and to the people who preserve their memories.
